A Handbag Saviour

We always carry around a little tub of something that multi-tasks - for lips, to tame eyebrows, get rid of dry cuticles or in fact, dry spots anywhere. And we love Natruline, £2.99 (beautykitchen.co.uk) which is 100 per cent natural with no petroleum jelly. Instead, it contains Castor Seed Oil, Carnuba Wax and Beeswax, and hydrates for up to eight hours. It's non-sticky and lovely to use as it doesn't block skin like petroleum jelly can. We've got one in our handbags for over Christmas.

Delicious Hand Washes

We absolutely love supermarket beauty - there are some treasures in those aisles. Take this gorgeous Pink Grapefruit Hand Wash from Waitrose, it's just £1 and is really lovely. The packaging is simple - just what you want for the kitchen or bathroom sink - and it smells delicious. It doesn't dry hands out and just feels like a little piece of luxury for a lot less than it looks.

Control And Cover Up!

Two of our favourite bargain brands have joined forces to create a fantastic concealer that will be a star product in our handbags this winter. Collection and Witch have come up with the bargain Primed & Ready Anti-Blemish 2-In-1 Concealer, £4.99 (Superdrug) which helps to treat blemishes while covering them up. The inner colour-correcting core neturalises redness while the outside shade disguises any nasty bits. Skin is calmed and the complexion is made more even in just one swipe. ...

We want products to be as natural as possible, especially when they're on our lips - let's face it, there's a good chance we'll swallow some of our lip balm, so let's make it tasty. Bargain Urban Decay Lookalike

Urban Decay's Naked eyeshadow palettes are very special. The colours are beautifully well-thought-out, the palette itself is exquisite quality, and it lasts for months. But at £39.50, they're an investment - which is why we're well chuffed with this looky-likey product from Aldi. The Naturals collection bears more than a passing resemblance to the Urban Decay palettes, and they're pretty good. The shades are very wearable, and at £5.99 (aldi.co.uk) they're just brilliant value. Well worth ...
